Abundance - Airtight Canister
“滿”，meaning “abundance”, is a happy word in Chinese culture. It is often written in calligraphy on a piece of red paper and stuck outside of rice containers in the beginning of a new year to wish for a good year. While one of the key Chinese philosophies describes that the earth is square and the heaven is round to manifest the stability and the mobility, the yin and yang, designer Kate takes the line and uses terra cotta and silicone lid to translate the thinking into modern airtight canisters with a touch of Zen. Also, with a whisk of imagination, you can turn them into a sleek vase.

Usage
• Terra cotta absorbs moisture and helps to minimize dampening of contents; the glaze finish
on the exterior of the canister also prevents humidity from affecting the contents.
• The silicone lid offers air tight function.
• Use a piece of chalk or finger nails to write on the glazed surface, and wipe it off with dry cloth.
Care
• While lifting the canister, please hold the body and not the lid to prevent from falling and possible breakage.
• Terra Cotta absorbs the flavor of the goods. Goods with different strong flavors are suggested to be stored
in separate canisters.
• Not for storing wet goods. When used as a vase, please don’t pour water into the canister to avoid seepage.
• Handle with care.
