Carbon steel is a material long used for making woks. It is strong, durable and conducts heat quickly and evenly. No artificial coating is used, meaning it can be seasoned to create a natural non-stick coating.
Magnolia grows slowly and gives a wood characterized for its strength, density and hardness. The designer chose it to go with carbon steel to form this unpretentious, highly functional wok design. The Wok and utensils invites you to try out creative Chinese home cuisine and makes a pleasing focal point when presented on the table.
