Usage
• Before first use, clean the wok thoroughly, wipe completely dry. Fill 1/4 of the wok with cooking oil then turn small to medium heat for 3 -5 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow the heat to gradually cool down and the cooking oil is firmly absorbed and coated to the surface. Discard the excess oil and wipe clean.
• Preheat your wok then add cooking oil to ensure a natural non-stick cooking surface.
• It is recommended to clean the wok with hot water while it’s hot and cold water while it is cold.
• To clean burnt-on food, boil water with the wok and allow it to soften the burnt-on food and clean it with a scrub.
• Compatible with gas stove, IH stove, ceramic stove etc.
Care
•Do not heat an empty wok for an extended period of time.
• Not dishwasher safe. Not recommended to clean with dish washing liquid. It may damage the surface and rust.
•For locations with high humidity, make sure to use low heat to evaporate left over liquid and make sure it is completely dry.
• If there are rust on the surface, scrub it off with scouring pad and coat the wok with a thin layer of cooking oil.
• It is normal, when reaching high temperature, the wok may turn metallic blue.
• When left unused for an extended period of time, please coat the wok with a thin layer of cooking oil to prevent rusting.
•No chemical coating is applied on the wok. The carbonation process uses organic grease for a natural nonstick surface. It is normal for the wok show metallic silver surface after a few use.
•After seasoning and cleaning, it is normal to see brown mark on the cloth or paper towel after wiping.
